SCOPE OF APPLIED ELECTRONICS & INSTRUMENTATION ENGG.    

Electronics has permeated every sphere of civilization. Every industry, institution and organization feels the need for an electronic engineer and computer specialist. Advanced countries in the world have gone to such depths of electronics usage today that an electronics engineer is indispensable on every front. Opportunity in this highly sophisticated and advanced branch of engineering is abundant. With the need of the day in mind, the Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering Department of EAST, Phulnakhara runs an attractive up-to-date 4yrs B.E. degree course in the subject.

LABORATORIES FACILTY :    

The following is a list of well-equipped laboratories catering to the needs of experimentation on advanced areas of Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering.

Microprocessors Laboratory: Equipped with 25 different Microprocessor kits and other experimental modules.

Electronics Circuits Laboratory: Equipped with 20 experimental kits of basic electronics.

Communication System Laboratory: Equipped with Hewlett Packard (HP) storage Oscilloscope, Colour TV. Demonstration kits, signal analyzer and other experimental modules.

Computer Laboratory: Equipped with computers for students project work. It has high powered HP COMPAQ Pentium-IV computers with 30 terminals.
